Stefano is a researcher at NIBIO with a background in forest remote and proximal sensing for precision forestry applications. He is interested in developing cutting-edge solutions using drones for making informed and timely management decisions. Stefano will work towards the operationalization of the use of drones in forestry. Specifically, he will be leading two work tasks related to the development of AI and cloud-based solutions to obtain near-real-time analytics and actionable insights from drones.
