Welcome to Jeroen Van Houtte, the newest member of the SmartForest team!
Jeroen joined us at SmartForest as a postdoctoral fellow in November 2025, where he will develop AI algorithms for image processing tasks.
He holds an MSc in Physics and Astronomy and completed his PhD on 2D/3D image registration and statistical shape modeling at the University of Antwerp. Prior to joining NIBIO, Jeroen worked at Sony as a system engineer specializing in depthsensing sensors.
